Knit Your Way Through Copenhagen, Denmark

A Nordic Knitting Adventure | September 20–27, 2027

Imagine this: a cozy canal-side café, a steaming cup of coffee, and a skein of beautiful Danish yarn in your hands. Join Knit Yonder and Skein Yarn Shop for eight days in Copenhagen, the birthplace of hygge, where the art of slowing down and savoring life’s simple pleasures is a way of living. We’ve woven together everything a knitter’s heart could desire: world-class design, charming yarn shops, new skills, and a whole group of fellow fiber lovers to share it with.

Trip Highlights

Cast On in Copenhagen
Kick things off with our festive Cast On Party, where you’ll meet your fellow travelers, swap project plans, and start your first stitches of the trip together.

Knit and Learn
Sharpen your skills in two knitting instruction classes, including a Scandinavian Design workshop where you’ll explore the colorwork, texture, and clean-lined style that made Nordic knitting famous. Between outings, gather for relaxed group knitting sessions, the perfect excuse to sit, stitch, and chat.

Yarn Shop Adventures
Browse Copenhagen’s best-loved Danish yarn stores, where you’ll find beautiful fibers, inspiring patterns, and treasures you simply can’t get at home. (Pack an extra suitcase!)

Design Lovers’ Copenhagen
Immerse yourself in Danish creativity at Designmuseum Denmark and the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, home to remarkable art and sculpture in a stunning setting. Bring your travel project so we can sit in the atrium under the greenery and knit away.

See the City Your Way
Glide through the historic waterways on a canal boat sightseeing tour, then wander Copenhagen’s cobbled streets on our Hygge Walking Tour to discover what makes Danish coziness so special.

Two Countries, Two Day Trips
Visit Odense, the storybook hometown of Hans Christian Andersen, and cross the famous Øresund Bridge to explore Malmö, Sweden. That’s two countries in one trip!

Time to Explore
We’ve left breathing room in the schedule for you to wander, shop, café-hop, and discover your own favorite corners of the city.

Pack your needles. Copenhagen is waiting!
